Abstract
This work deals with the figure of Salvador Dalí, his complex artistic personality, his relationship with the surrealist movement, which began after the First World War, and his project The Dream of Venus for the 1939 New York International Fair. Along the way, we will delve deeper into his paranoid-critical method, based on techniques that explore the unconscious, as well as the figures who were important in his artistic life, the manifestos of surrealism, and his relationship with Sigmund Freud.
