El objeto de este artículo es exponer qué se puede hacer, qué se debe
hacer, qué hay que hacer para transformar los catálogos manuales en catálogos legibles
por ordenador y cuales son algunos de los regímenes que imperan en este tipo
de catalogación
ABSTRACT: The aim of this paper is to show what can be done, what must be done, and what is to be done to turn manual catalogues into machine readable catalogues, and to make known some of the guidelines governing this type of cataloguing.
