Description
Abstract
This document deals with musical instruments in The MusScreen Method. This is defined as an attitude towards audiovisuals in the music classroom. It does not seek a random use of audiovisuals, but a meaningful teaching that takes into account the shortcomings of today's society and its methodologies. The aim is to investigate the importance and function of musical instruments in The MusScreen Method in each of the areas distinguished by Montoya Rubio, being sound, extrapolation, musical apprehension, filming and generation of audiovisuals. Each of these categories will be defined and then linked to the instrumental possibilities in the Primary Music classroom. Among the instruments mentioned in the document, we find voice, body percussion, percussion instruments of determined height (PAD), percussion instruments of indeterminate height (PAI), the recorder, the ukulele and interactive instruments through ICT. In its development, a qualitative methodology is used for the collection and interpretation of the data, highlighting data analysis as a research technique. As conclusions, the reasons why musical instruments should be worked on from the audiovisual product are set out. Among them, active experimentation and playfulness stand out
