Abstract
A modo de homenaje, nuestro texto propone la lectura musical de la obra de Paco de
Lucía a partir del análisis de cinco claves: la técnica de guitarra, el ritmo, la armonía, la melodía
y los préstamos de otras músicas en torno a dos ejes, el grupo flamenco y el cajón. Acotaciones
sobre el concepto de “toque flamenco”, sobre el Niño Ricardo y sobre Sabicas completan esta
lectura de la obra del recién fallecido Maestro de Algeciras.
Since as a tribute, our text proposes the musical r eading of Paco de Lucia ́s work starting the analysis of five keys: the technical guitar, th e rythm, the harmony, the melody and the loans of others musics around two axis, the flamenc o group and the cajon. Marginal notes about the concept of “toque flamenco”, about Niño R icardo and about Sabicas complet this reading of the work of the recently deceased Algeci ras ́s Master.
