Abstract
El presente trabajo, que integra el análisis de censos y vecindarios generales junto a los registros bautismales para el periodo 1580-1860, ha permitido precisar el grado de fiabilidad de cada uno de estos recuentos generales, así como poder matizar la evolución de la serie bautismal durante todo el periodo. De ello, lo más destacado es la comprobación de que la expansión demográfica del siglo XVI llega a su fin en esta zona en la década de 1580, y que hasta la última década del siglo XVIII estos valores no volverán a ser alcanzados.
The present work, that compose the analysis of census and general neighbourhood next to the baptismal registries for period 1580-1860, has allowed to need the degree reliability of each one of these general counts, as web as to be able to throughout clarify the evolution of the baptismal series the period. Of it, most outstanding it is the verification from which the demographic expansion of century XVI arrives at its aim in this zone in the decade of 1580, and which until the last decade of century XVIII these values will no return to be reached.
