Abstract
En la comarca del Noroeste de la Región de Murcia, en los últimos años, el turismo rural
ha adquirido un notable dinamismo que genera rentas adicionales a las obtenidas en el sector
primario. El turismo rural en esta comarca de montaña está favoreciendo la salida del estancamiento
al que estaba sometida. No obstante, el turismo no ha de ser la única actividad del
desarrollo rural, sino que ha de integrarse con el resto de actividades económicas y generar
una diversificación productiva de la comarca.
ABSTRACT In the Northwest of Murcia (Spain), in recent years, rural tourism has gained a remarkable dynamism, generating additional income to workers in the primary sector. Rural tourism in this mountain region is encouraging its progress and economic and social development. However, tourism should not be the only activity of rural development, must be integrated with other economic activities and generate a productivity diversification in this region.
