Abstract
La comarca del Campo de Cartagena y en particular el municipio de Torre Pacheco albergan en el subsuelo una gran cantidad de subterráneos generados en su mayoría por el hombre respondiendo a diversos fines; minería, almacenamiento, búsqueda de agua, etc. Estos subterráneos sirvieron de vivienda y refugio en situaciones de emergencia para los habitantes de los alrededores. Aquí se recopila un catálogo de algunos subterráneos de dicho municipio y la importancia que tiene el agua en algunos de ellos.
The region of the Field of Cartagena and specially the town of Torre Pacheco houses in the subsoil a great number of underground passages built by the man in the majority of cases for different reasons: mining, storage, search of water, etc. These underground passages served as housing and shelter in emergency situations for the inhabitants of the surroundings. Here we build a catalogue of some of the underground passages of the this town and the importance that water has in some of them.
