5 metros de poemas
de Carlos Oquendo de Amat constituyen una
muestra
de la
singularidad de la
vanguardia
peruana e
hispanoamericana.
En esta obra,
mediante un lenguaje rupturista
de signo lúdico, plagado de
ejercicios tipogr
áficos
y
de
metáforas inusitadas
, el poeta peruano funde la
ternura de las vivencias aldeanas de sus primeros años con el desconcierto
y el encantamiento que la metrópolis le causa a su llegada a Lima. Este
artículo parte de la caracterización que Jean Eps
tein hace de la
nueva
sensibilidad
(
La poesía de hoy
, 1920
)
y del concepto de
función utópica
propuesto por Fernando Aínsa (
Necesidad
de la utopía
, 1990
). Desde estos
presupuestos teóricos
,
se realiza
una lectura de los poemas acéntricos
oquendianos como
p
ropuesta utópica
alternativa a la metrópolis moderna.
En este sentido, el estudio argumenta cómo el tratamiento
lírico
del espacio
y la fusión de los ambientes rural y urbano configuran una poética de la
acentralidad que ofrece al lector
de “film de los pa
isajes”, “amberes” y “new
york” (autodenominados
poemas acéntricos
)
nuevas posibilidades vitales
más allá de las polaridades establecidas por la ciudad y la aldea, el centro y
la periferia.
5 metros de poemas by Carlos Oquendo de Amat constitute a sample of the singularity of the Peruvian and Hispanic - American avant - garde. In this work, through ground - breaking langua ge of ludic sign, riddled with typographic exercises and unusual metaphor, the Peruvian poet merges the tenderness of the village - living experiences of his early years with the perplexity and the enchantment which the metropolis causes him on his arrival t o Lima. The present article stems from the characterization which Jean Epstein makes of the new sensitivity ( La poesía de hoy , 1920) and from the concept of utopian function proposed by Fernando Aínsa ( Necesidad de la utopía , 1990). From these theoretical presumptions, a reading is conducted of the acentric oquedian poems as an alternative utopian proposal to the modern metropolis. In this regard, this work argues on how the lyrical treatment of the space and the combination of rural and urban environments form a poetics of the acentric which offers the reader of “film de los paisajes”, “amberes” and “new york” (self - proclaimed as acentric poems) with new vital possibilities beyond the polarity which is established by the city and the village, the center and the periphery.
