Description
Abstract
The artice analyzes the literary work, Cancer Ward, by Alexandr Solschenizyn, as a parable of the decline of Stalinism. The association between literature and criticism needs also an introspection pain of the victims. The parable and analogies of a work sometimes hurt the political and historical text value. Our article attempts to recover the demolishing perception that the Russian author has about Stalinism through characters who threaten the stability of a system which is a dictatorship. The parable is not only a metaphor, but also the realization of a problem and, in the case of Stalinism, the evidence of a systematic strategy of neglect and exclusion towards the dissident intellectual.
