In depth study from numismatic, historical, diplomatic, documentary and epigraphic perspectives on the currency issued by King Alfonso I of Aragon, also known as "The Warrior", both in the kingdoms of Castile and Leon, as well as in the areas naturally subjected to his sovereignty - kingdoms of Aragon and Navarra - . Following a detailed analysis of his billon minting from every possible scientific viewpoint, we reach a number of interesting, peculiar but logical conclusions that help us to more precisely define the monetary and economic policies practiced by this monarch with a crusader spirit and devoted to God.
