Abstract
En este artículo sobre los Colegios Familiares Rurales, que se extendieron por gran parte de España durante tres décadas, analizamos el contexto económico, político social y cultural en el que nacieron y se desarrollaron. Presentamos a continuación los orígenes y antecedentes socioeducativos de los mismos. Para pasar a presentar después las señas de identidad que los caracterizaron. Por último, se destacan algunas de las dificultades a las que tuvieron que hacer frente, así como su declive y huellas que, a nuestro entender, dejaron.
In this article about Rural Family Schools, which spread throughout Spain over three decades, we analyse the economic political, social and cultural context in which they began and developed. We then present the origins and socio-educational forerunners. After that we give the particular idiosyncrasies that characterised them. Finally, we highlight some of the difficulties that they faced as well as their decline and the marks they left.
