Abstract
Se analiza cómo está afrontando la Unión Europea la transición digital para conocer qué medidas propone y en qué calendario. Para ello, se revisa, por un lado, la actuación comunitaria de coordinación de la Estrategia Europea de Empleo y, por otro, otra documentación de la Unión con impacto en el empleo. Se concluye que al no tener un diagnóstico claro, las medidas a adoptar que se proponen por las autoridades comunitarias son inconsistentes. A partir de diciembre de 2022 y primeros meses de 2023 se reconoce un cambio de ritmo a la hora de afrontar el impacto de la digitalización, sin embargo, en temas de cambios legislativos laborales queda mucho camino por recorrer.
This article analyses how the European Union is tackling the digital transition in order to find out what measures it is proposing and in what timeframe. To this end, it reviews, on the one hand, the Community action to coordinate the European Employment Strategy and, on the other, other EU documentation with an impact on employment. It is concluded that without a clear diagnosis, the measures to be adopted proposed by the Community authorities are inconsistent. From December 2022 and the first months of 2023, a change of pace in tackling the impact of digitalisation is recognised, however, there is still a long way to go in terms of changes in employment legislation.
