dc.description.abstractA fines del Segundo Periodo Intermedio, Egipto incorporó dos elementos exógenos a su equipamiento militar, el carro de combate y el arco compuesto, los cuales rápidamente se aceptaron como parte de la regalia del faraón del Reino Nuevo. Por esta razón, es esencial analizar los factores y motivaciones que impulsaron esta relación para comprender la verdadera razón detrás de su elección en las representaciones oficiales. Así, esta investigación arroja una nueva perspectiva sobre la conexión simbólica entre el faraón y estos elementos, desafiando la creencia convencional que enfatizaba lo militar y resaltando la influencia de heterogéneas motivaciones de carácter religioso y propagandístico que afectaron tanto al monarca como a su élite.es
dc.description.abstractAt the end of the Second Intermediate Period, Egypt incorporated two foreign elements into its military equipment, the chariot and the composite bow, which quickly became part of the regalia of the pharaoh of the New Kingdom. For this reason, it is essential to analyse the factors and motivations that drove this relationship in order to understand the real reason behind their choice in official representations. Thus, this research sheds new light on the symbolic connection between the pharaoh and these elements, challenging conventional assumptions that emphasised the military and highlighting the influence of heterogeneous religious and propagandistic motivations that affected both the monarch and his elite.es
