dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo sobre cartel político cubano pretende analizar el desarrollo del diseño gráfico antes del triunfo de la Revolución Cubana y evaluar el cartel político a partir de 1959. Destaca el impacto de la Revolución como nuevo paradigma social en la cartelística cubana; se abordan las nuevas funciones del diseño gráfico y se presentan las instituciones directamente vinculadas con la temática, creadas para propagar, divulgar y desarrollar el nuevo y floreciente fenómeno gráfico.es
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT: This work about the Cuban political poster attempts to analyse the development of the graphical design before the triumph of the Cuban Revolution and to evaluate the political poster afterwards 1959. It emphasizes the impact of the Revolution as a new social paradigm in the Cuban poster. The new purposes of the graphical design are evaluated and there is a presentation of the institutions that were directly connected to this subject, and created for the transmission, the broadcasting and the development of the new and flourishing graphical experiencees
