subordinación del pueblo a la clase dominante no es inevitable

, otra forma de decir que la
democracia radical es posible, tras un periodo de derrotas históricas en las que el triunfo
del capitalismo más salvaje parecía inevitable. Sin embargo, los últimos años hemos
asistido al relanzamiento de la idea de comunismo, lo que conlleva inexorablemen
te un
juicio histórico sobre las experiencias políticas que se han acogido a ese rótulo para
caracterizarse. Se trata, pues, de relanzar la idea del comunismo, más allá de las
experiencias históricas autodenominadas comunistas, asumiendo sus ideales y
anal
izando las causas de su derrota
We try to rethink the communist hypothesis, that is, the idea that the subordination of the people to the ruling class is not inevitable 2 , a nother way of saying that radical democracy is possible, after a period of historical defeats in which the triumph of wildest capitalism seemed unavoidable. However, in recent years we have witnessed the relaunching of the idea of communism, what inexorabl y entails a historical judgment on the political experiences that have been collected under that label to be characterized. It is a matter, then, of relaunching the idea of communism, beyond self - considered communist historical experiences, assuming their ideals and analyzing the causes of their defeat.
