dc.description.abstract	El artículo expone cuáles son los ámbitos y cuestiones de investigación en el área de la educación intercultural. Nuestro foco de atención está en la investigación que se ha desarrollado con objeto de analizar el consenso existente en torno a cuestiones fundamentales para el área. Se exponen datos parciales de un trabajo más extenso en el que se analizan las cuestiones y ámbitos de investigación en educación intercultural en el ámbito español. En primer lugar se comienza por delimitar a qué llamamos educación intercultural, cuáles son sus presupuestos, sus principios, sus fines y objetivos. A partir de ahí, se identifican, describen y ejemplifican los ámbitos y cuestiones de investigación que configuran el área. La información recogida permite establecer cuál es la evidencia acumulada acerca de las cuestiones más relevantes y poder establecer prioridades en el desarrollo de la educación intercultural.	es
dc.description.abstract	The article deals with identifying and describing the main areas and questions of the research on intercultural educa tion in the Spanish context. It focuses on reviewing the research that has been done during the last ten years in terms of stablishing the consensus about the main questions for the area. The article exposes some data of a more complete unpublished report. First of all, the arti cle proposes a defi nition of intercultural education, its assumptions and objec tives. Furthemore, we identify, describe and exemplify the areas and questions of research. The information shows the accumulated evidence about some main questions and it is relevant in order to make decisis about intercultural educa tion implementation.
