Description
Abstract
In this article we present some of the lessons learned about the teaching profession which we are developing in a research project that seeks to connect initial teacher training with primary school teachers’ practical knowledge. We shadowed three female primary school teachers during their daily duties to learn from and with them about matters of importance to the teaching profession, to enable us to gain a deeper understanding of the educational significance of forms of relationship and action with educational value for our students and for us as female educators. In this way, we aim to take knowledge to universities that is capable of connecting with the practical experience of those who teach and learn.
