Description
Abstract
Taking advantage of the occasion which teaching gave us in the Pedagogical Competence Course (C.A.P.), we carried out a survey on the ideas which future Secondary Education teachers had, referring to the Special Educacional Needs that some students present due to different reasons. These teachers- to-be must assume an educational commitment paying attention to diversity in an didactic, inclusive and cooperative approach. The results are indeed worrying, in the sense of there is neither a psichopedagogical knowledge nor a basic formation of curricular type included in the formational curriculums of their respective careers. Even more, when we are referring to the education of people with learning difficulties due to a handicap, who demand specific attentions from the educational system. Consequently, the Pedagogical Competence Course is our last formational resort to cover the needs of the Secondary Education teacher. However nowadays this course is not the answer to our questions and it requires an urgent modificacion.
