Abstract
Este artículo describe y discute la producción científica que relaciona al turismo con la gobernanza en el periodo 2013 -2019. El propósito es vislumbrar las diferentes perspectivas de la gobernanza y sus principales aportaciones tanto teóricas como empíricas al campo turístico. Mediante una revisión semi-sistemática y técnica de análisis de contenido, fueron identificadas, en los diferentes artículos, nueve perspectivas: buena gobernanza, gobernanza por redes, gobernanza local, de destinos turísticos, territorial, ambiental, multinivel, corporativa y Meta gobernanza. Se concluye que por una parte predominan en la literatura temas tradicionales como la sustentabilidad, el desarrollo local y la territorialidad; pero por otra, los investigadores están incursionando en temas de vanguardia como metagobernanza, gobernanza transfronteriza y redes. Esta variedad de perspectivas que vinculan a la gobernanza con el turismo, ha provocado dispersión en sus aportaciones, lo que ha l imitado la consolidación del turismo y la gobernanza como un campo de estudio.
This article describes and discusses the scientific production that relates tourism to governance in the 2013-2019 period. The purpose is to glimpse the different perspectives of governance and i ts main theoretical and empirical contributions to the tourist field. Through a semi systematic review and the content analysis technique, nine perspectives were identified: Good governance, governance networks, metagovernance, Tourism Destination Governance, local, territorial, multilevel, corporate, and environmental governance. It is concluded that, on the one hand, traditional themes such as sustainability, local development and territoriality predominate in the literature; but on the other, researchers are venturing into cutting-edge issues such as cross boarder governance, metagovernance and networks. This variety of perspectives that link governance to tourism has caused dispersion in their contributions, which has imited the consolidation of tourism and governance as a field of study.
