Abstract
Durante el estudio del género Ochthebius Leach en la cuenca del río Segura ha sido recolectado Ochthebius cuprescens Guillebeau, 1893. Esta especie ha resultado ser nueva para la fauna europea. Una pequeña descripción junto con notas sobre su distribución y biología son aportadas en este artículo.
During the study of the genus Ochthebius Leach in the Segura river basin (southem Spain) have been found Ochthebius cuprescens Guillebeau, 1893. This species is new for the european fauna. A short description, male genitalia and notes on the distribution and biology are offered.
