Description
Abstract
With the frame of the diagnostic and conservation work on this medieval building, we broach his archaeological excavation for first time. His emblematic consideration in the mozarabic churches whole of «Duero» area, and in a supposed group from «León» area, historiographically generates many formal based but no so documental based theories. We reject some of this presumptions, in a phylogenetic frame from visigotic to Astur-prerromanic and Caliphal Art, and offering a new interpretation of the old and new material evidences. Diachronically show his hermitic origin, the reorganization context of the repoblation, his reconsecration expressed submission, and his extinction in coincidence with cistercian reform.
