dc.description.abstractEn este artículo revisaremos la relación entre la sociología y la historia hasta la consolidación del subcampo de la sociología histórica durante la década de los setenta del pasado siglo. Veremos qué temas y problemas teóricos y metodológicos ha afrontado desde entonces y en qué contexto fueron planteados. Por último, se reflexiona sobre la vigencia de la agenda clásica de la sociología histórica (la formación histórica de los Estados nacionales, los procesos de modernización y desarrollo capitalista o las revoluciones sociales) en el actual contexto social y político, para concluir sobre cómo, paradójicamente, ante una idea de modernidad cuestionada, la mirada de la sociología histórica puede volver a girarse hacia modelos de la sociología clásica. ------------------------es
dc.description.abstractIn this article we will review the relationship between sociology and history to the consolidation of the subfield of historical sociology during the sixties of last century. We will see what themes and theoretical and methodological problems have faced since then and in what context they made sense. Finally, we reflect on the validity of the classical agenda of historical sociology (the historical formation of national states, the processes of modernization and capitalist development or social revolutions) in the current social and political context, to conclude on how, paradoxically, before an idea of questioned modernity, the look of historical sociology can be turned to models of classical sociology
