Abstract
Las instalaciones deportivas escolares son un elemento clave en la
Educación Física, pues influyen y limitan el proceso educativo y la
labor del docente. Este estudio pretende analizar el estado actual de
las instalaciones deportivas escolares de los centros de Educación
Secundaria Obligatoria, en base a la legislación y normativa vigente. Se ha creado un cuestionario ad hoc para la investigación, y se ha
aplicado a 56 centros educativos de Castilla y León. Los resultados
indican importantes deficiencias en todos los espacios analizados.
Existen centros con problemas en la seguridad y en la accesibilidad
de las instalaciones deportivas escolares. Concluimos con que se
deben tomar medidas en el diseño de las instalaciones deportivas
escolares y corregir las deficiencias existentes. Incluir la obligación
del uso de la Norma NIDE en todas estas acciones aseguraría instalaciones seguras y de calidad que mejoren la labor del profesor y las clases de Educación Física.

An ad hoc questionnaire was created for the research, and has been applied to 56 centers in Castilla y León. The results indicate significant deficiencies in all areas analyzed. Weconclude that measures must be taken in the design of physical education facilities and to correct the existing deficiencies.
