Description
Abstract
Abstrat: Postmodern philosophy has more often than not made an outrageous use of several scientific terms and concepts. The rejection of a reality we can refer to characterises its most radical versions. With the aim of justifying this and related theses, postmodern literature typically turns to Quantum Mechanics. We will thoroughly examine the wave-particle duality, the indeterminacy relations, the superposition of states and the notion of non-separability, principles of Quantum Mechanics typically utilised with the mentioned aim. It will be shown that these principles do not support postmodern ontological aspirations.
