Abstract
Las dotaciones de equipamientos e infraestructuras son una respuesta a la demanda de
residentes. Sin embargo en muchos territorios la población es escasa y sus mayores efectivos
están condicionados por la estacionalidad del turismo.
El artículo analiza la capacidad de los equipamientos como recurso de atracción de la
actividad turística, sobre todo en su modalidad de turismo de retorno, donde el grado de
atracción tiene más relación con motivos nostálgicos que los tradicionales recursos demandados
por el turismo tradicional. Se trata de explorar posibilidades de dinamización de la
actividad turística en espacios rurales entendidos como espacios recreativos o incluso para
residir de forma temporal o permanente. A través del análisis cartográfico se presenta la valorización
de estos recursos en la provincia de Albacete
ABSTRACT: Equipment and facilities are built as a response to demands from the resident population. However, in many areas, the inhabitants are scarce and most of them are affected by the seasonality of tourism. This article researches equipment as a tool for attracting tourism, especially the ‘tourism of returnʼ type, where the power of attraction is due to nostalgic reasons rather than traditional resources, which are sought by the traditional tourism. It explores opportunities for boosting tourism in rural areas seen as a recreational space or even to reside temporarily or permanently. We consider these resources in the province of Albacete through cartographic analysis.
