Abstract
En este trabajo se pone de relieve la necesidad tomar en
consideración aquellos aspectos que ponen de manifiesto la pérdida
de competitividad de los destinos turísticos, su percepción negativa
por parte de los turistas.
Se aboga por modificar esa tendencia utilizando métodos que
proporcionan autores y organismos, ya que es posible establecer
estrategias que frenen los signos de declive y también poner en
práctica herramientas que favorezcan su renovación y
reposicionamiento como destinos turísticos capaces de satisfacer las
expectativas de los consumidores. Como ejemplo señalamos el caso
de la ciudad de Cartagena.
ABSTRACT: This paper gets highlighted the need to take into consideration those aspects which demonstrate the loss of competitiveness of tourist destinations, its negative perception by tourists. Calls for change that trend using methods that provide authors and organizations, it is possible to establish strategies that restrain the signs of decline and, also implement, tools that favors its renovation and repositioning as tourist destinations, capable of satisfying the expectations of consumers. As an example, we pointed out the case of the city of Cartagena.
