Abstract
Este artículo es fruto de una investigación centrada en el análisis de los cibermedios desde
la perspectiva de género. Se analiza la red social Facebook a través de dos temas que poseen
una gran influencia en la cimentación social del concepto mujer: la gordofobia (“La gordofobia: esclavas de la belleza”) y la ruptura del concepto de mujer tradicional (“Ya no quiero
ser princesa”). En un principio se examinan los antecedentes que originaron el desarrollo del
movimiento cyborg, para posteriormente, estudiar el contexto en el que tuvieron lugar e indagar
sobre lo que representaron en su época desde el punto de vista de la igualdad de género, y, por
último, se creará una propuesta socioeducativa desde las redes sociales con el propósito de poner
en cuestión los estereotipos de género en torno a la belleza y el modelo tradicional femenino.
This article is the result of a research focused on the analysis of cybermedia from the perspective of genre. The social network Facebook is analyzed on two topics that have a great influence on the social foundation of the concept womanhood: the gordofobia (“Gordofobia: slaves of beauty”) and the break of the concept of the traditional woman (“I no longer want to be a princess”). First, the precedents that originated the development of movement cyborg are examined. Secondly, we study the context in which they took place and analyze what they represented in his time from the point of view of gender equality and finally, we develop a socioeducative proposal from the social networks with the intention of putting in question gender stereotypes.
