Abstract
La pantalla inunda todos los espacios, tanto públicos como privados. Posee el don de la ubicuidad, por lo que, sin duda, afectará a las interacciones, socialización e identificación individual y colectiva de cada persona. El presente estudio recoge el desarrollo de una investigación que expone la pertinencia de entender la pantalla como un nuevo lugar de conformación del “yo” contemporáneo, un espacio que genera arquetipos identitarios que la juventud adopta como referentes simbólicos de sus repertorios de subjetividad. A este respecto, se realiza un recorrido a través del análisis de, principalmente, tres series actuales en plataformas de streaming para, de esta manera, poder enlazar el contenido teórico con la representación que se hace desde la visualidad, realizando una comparativa entre discurso e imagen. En este sentido, la investigación nos ha permitido elaborar un espacio de confluencia de derivas y reflexiones teóricas que han terminado poniendo de manifiesto el poder del contenido visual como generador de contenido identitario en nuestra época posmoderna.
The screen pervades all spaces, both public and private. It possesses the gift of ubiquity, so it will undoubtedly affect the interactions, socialisation and individual and collective identification of each individual. The present study is the result of a research project that exposes the relevance of understanding the screen as a new place for shaping the contemporary “I”, a space that generates identity archetypes that young people adopt as symbolic references of their repertoires of subjectivity. In this regard, a journey is made through the analysis of, mainly, three current series on streaming platforms in order to link the theoretical content with the representation that is made from visuality, making a comparison between discourse and image. In this sense, the research has allowed us to elaborate a space of confluence of drifts and theoretical reflections that have ended up highlighting the power of visual content as a generator of identity content in our postmodern era.
