Description
Abstract
culto a Nazim Hikmet.
In the poetry of Antonio Gamoneda, music comprises the original impulse by which knowledge is attained. His poetic thought comes from the musical structure in which sensibility precedes intelligibility of words. This study focuses on his poem Blues castellano to analyze the implications of blues and spirituals in this poetic composition based on the fragmentary memories of the Franco dictatorship. Furthermore, he shows his profound respect for Turkish poet Nazim Hikmet by means of rewriting, based on the musical form. The philosophical quotations added at the beginning of some poems are a response to his literary creation in the sense of ethics, intensifying the reading of individual and collective consciousness. The material body occupies an essential position in his literary expressiveness. From the concept of otherness, Gamoneda exalts fraternity and is a faithful witness to suffering and misfortune.
