Abstract
La educación costarricense, especialmente el sistema educativo, se ha visto enriquecido por un
proceso histórico, social y político que sin duda necesita madurar.
El sistema mayormente está organizado en los aspectos que conciernen a la educación formal; menor
importancia se otorga a la educación no formal y la informal, donde se nota un vacío.
La educación permanente sólo se puede lograr mediante un reciclaje continuo de métodos,
instrumentos y sujetos. Con el fin de obtener calidad y perfeccionamiento, se requiere un proceso de
integración de éstos elementos
Costarican education, specially the educational system, has been enriched by a historical, social and political process, which, with no doubt needs to mature. The system is chiely organised in the aspects which concern formal education, lesser importance is given to non formal education, and informal education, where a vacuum exists. Permanent education, can only be obtained by a continuous recycling of methods, instruments and subjects. In order to obtain quality and perfection, the process of untegration of this elements is required
