dc.description.abstract	En este artículo analizamos la obra del sociólogo y crítico cultural Philip Rieff, uno de los analistas más importantes del siglo XX de los “mundos culturales” y uno de los más agudos críticos de la que consideraba como “anti-cultura” de la Posmodernidad progresista consumista. Deudor del psicoanálisis de Freud, Rieff contribuyó decisivamente en la primera difusión de la gran transformación posmoderna que su exmujer Sontag representaba como icono, pero pronto comenzó a disentir del falso hedonismo del bienestar que para él negaba lo sagrado y lo comunitario como fundamentación social de los modos culturales de pensar y vivir. dc.description.abstract	In this article I analyze the work of the sociologist and cultural critic Philip Rieff, one of the most important analysts of the 20th century of the "cultural worlds" and one of the sharpest critics of what he considered as "anti-culture" of progressive Postmodernity. and consumerist. Debtor of Freud's psychoanalysis, Rieff contributed decisively to the first diffusion of the great postmodern transformation that his ex-wife Sontag represented as an icon, but he soon began to dissent from the false hedonism of well-being that for him denied the sacred and the communal as the social foundation of the cultural ways of thinking and living. A succinct analysis, therefore, of its diagnosis and its evolution, within the framework of the cultural battles of the contemporary era.
