dc.description.abstract	Marx es un científico con una concepción dialéctica del mundo. Este doble enfoque se refleja en su obra magna, El capital. En ella hace Marx importantes aportaciones teóricas que le permiten penetrar como nadie antes en la esencia del modo de producción capitalista. Pero Marx es también un defensor del materialismo dialéctico. En este artículo defiendo que la dialéctica tiene dos efectos positivos sobre la “investigación científica libre” que realiza Marx en El capital, y un efecto negativo. Los efectos positivos son, por un lado, la perspectiva genética que la dialéctica añade a la comprensión del capitalismo como realidad histórica dinámica y la idea según la cual una formación social contradictoria como el capitalismo genera necesariamente falsas apariencias que velan su esencia. Sin embargo, la dialéctica también le hace a Marx caer en la hybris intelectual por la que cree haber descubierto leyes de desarrollo del capitalismo, leyes que se imponen con férrea necesidad y permiten predecir su negación “con la necesidad de un proceso natural”.	es
dc.description.abstract	ABSTRACT: Marx is a scientist with a dialectical conception of the world. This double approach is reflected in his great work, Capital. Here Marx makes important theoretical contributions that allow him to penetrate as no one before in the essence of the capitalist mode of production. But Marx is also an advocate of dialectical materialism. In this article I argue that dialectics has two positive effects on Marx's "free scientific research" in Capital, and a negative effect. The positive effects are, on the one hand, the genetic perspective that dialectics adds to the understanding of capitalism as a dynamic historical reality and the idea that a contradictory social formation like capitalism necessarily generates false appearances that veil its essence. However, dialectics also causes Marx to fall into the intellectual hybris of believing he has discovered the laws of capitalist development, laws that impose themselves with iron necessity and allow him to predict the negation of capitalism "with the necessity of a natural process".	es
