dc.description.abstractEn este estudio se lleva a cabo un repaso por la iconografía y la historia de la figura de Hércules, destacando las pinturas de Pompeya y Herculano. En concreto se centra en las representaciones de “El colegio de los Augustales” y “La Basílica de Herculano”. Con este trabajo se pretende demostrar la importancia de este héroe en las representaciones pictóricas de Pompeya y Herculano y un estudio comparado de los textos mitológicos y las iconografías.es
dc.description.abstractIn this study, an iconography and history review of the figure of the Roman hero and God, Hercules, will be carried out, highlighting the pictorial representations of the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Specifically, focusing on the mural representations of “The College of the Augustales” and “The Basilica of Herculaneum”. This work aims to demonstrate the importance this hero had in the representations and the differences between the written mythological texts and the mural paintings.es
