Abstract
Resumen: en este trabajo me propongo exponer la definición de Richard Rorty en torno a la racionalidad,
como producto de su crítica y deconstrucción de las concepciones modernas acerca del conocimiento. A
partir de dicha definición y caracterización, intentaré reinterpretar el principio de complementariedad,
elaborado por Niels Bohr, como marco lógico y conceptual para interpretar los fenómenos cuánticos. Con
ello, intento sostener que este ejemplo científico, de particular relevancia en la ciencia contemporánea, se
caracteriza por algunos elementos que el discurso rortiano propone.
Abstract: In this paper I will explain the Richard Rorty´s conception about rationality as a result of his review and rejection about the genealogy of the modernity´s thinking. This explanation will be focused specially on knowledge conceptions. Then I will summerize the principle of complementarity as the logical and conceptual framework to interpret quantum events. Finally, I will try to reinterpret this principle since the Rorty´s perspective. I try to show that this scientific example is characterized with some rortian thesis on this subject.
