Description
Abstract
ABSTRACT: The purpose of our research lies in identifying rural-hospitality managers’ attitudes and intentions towards the implementation of social-responsability actions, and consequently toward sustainable tourism. The key research focus is on the association between the Theory of Planned Behavior and the Theory of Sustainable Development. Partial Least Square (PLS) is proposed to assess the relationships between the constructs together with the predictive power of the research model. Overall, our results conclude that the implementation of ‘sustainable actions’ is mainly determined by the pressures of the manager’s environment.
