Abstract
En la universidad española, en general, y en las Escuelas de Enfermería, en particular,
existe una lógica preocupación debida a la inminente necesidad de adecuar tanto su
metodología educativa como sus planes de estudio a los que plantea el Espacio Europeo de
Educación Superior (EEES). En el presente trabajo se propone un Proyecto Docente para la
enseñanza teórica de la materia troncal Enfermería Médico-Quirúrgica, de los Planes de
Estudio conducentes a obtener el título de Diplomado/Grado en Enfermería. La metodología,
basada en la enseñanza por competencias profesionales, la programación y el cómputo de
créditos que se proponen en este Proyecto son acordes con la antigua Ley de Reforma
Universitaria pero, también, perfectamente compatibles con el método convergente que
implica el EEES. Se elige esta asignatura por ser la que más troncalidad tiene en los
vigentes planes de estudios (48 créditos, 12 teóricos y 36 prácticos). Esto, junto con la
cantidad de créditos prácticos, la mayor parte de ellos asistenciales, hace que esta
asignatura sea difícil de adaptar, de modo que las pautas que se siguen para ello serán
extrapolables a otras asignaturas.
ABSTRACT In the Spanish universities, in general, and in the Nursing Schools, in concrete, there is some concern related to the impending necessity of adapting their educational methodology and their curriculum design to those standards established by the European Higher Education Space. In the present work, an educational project for the teaching of “Medical-Surgical Nursing”, a core course of the Nursing Degree Program, is proposed. The methodology, based on the development of professional competences, the planning and the establishment of a system of credits proposed in this project, are in agreement with the ancient Law of University Reform and also with the convergence aims of the European Higher Education Space. This course has been selected because it is the largest one (48 credits, 12 theoretical and 36 practical). This amount of practical credits makes this course difficult to be adapted. In this way, we think that steps to achieve convergence for this course could be used for other nursing courses.
