dc.description.abstract	Murcia is one of the regions of Spain with the highest rate of risk of poverty and social exclusion, also being a territory that presents serious inequalities. One of these inequalities refers to the rural population, however, there is no current source available in this regard. This leads us to analyze the risk of poverty and social exclusion of the Murcian population according to the degree of urbanization of the territory where they live. The sample belongs to a field work carried out by the University of Murcia during the years 2017-2018. We confirm our starting hypothesis: the set of rural population shows a higher incidence of risk of poverty and social exclusion than their urban counterparts. Likewise, the set of rural population has worse working conditions, more difficulty reaching the end of the month and greater dissatisfaction in their standard of living. The analysis presented serves as support for the formulation of public policies, especially those aimed at improving the living conditions of rural Murcia.
dc.description.abstract	Murcia es una de las regiones de España con mayor tasa de riesgo de pobreza y exclusión social, además de ser un territorio que presenta graves desigualdades. Una de esas desigualdades alude a la población rural; no obstante, no hay disponible ninguna fuente actual al respecto. Esto nos lleva a analizar el riesgo de pobreza y exclusión social de la población murciana según el grado de urbanización del territorio donde vive. La muestra pertenece a un trabajo de campo llevado a cabo por la Universidad de Murcia durante los años 2017-2018. Confirmamos nuestra hipótesis de partida, el conjunto de la población rural manifiesta una mayor incidencia de riesgo de pobreza y exclusión social que sus homólogos urbanos. Asimismo, el conjunto de la población rural presenta peores condiciones laborales, más dificultades para llegar a final de mes y una mayor insatisfacción en su nivel de vida. El análisis presentado sirve de apoyo para la formulación de políticas públicas, especialmente, las orientadas a mejorar las condiciones de vida de la Murcia rural.
