Description
Abstract
Specialized translators need an adequate knowledge of terminology , due to the abundance of terms in specialized texts, such as those dealing with computer security . The aim of this article is to examine the close relationship between terminology and translation , in order to highlight the importance of using terminology tools . To achieve this goal , we focus on several translation strategies (loan, neologism, paraphra se) extracted from the translated version into Spanish of the manual on computer security CompTIA Security + , as well as on different processes followed in problem solving. As a result, we propose the creation o f a terminology database of computer securit y terms.
