Abstract
Resumen: Desde los años 1970, la superpoblación ha vuel-to al debate sociopolítico, asociado a las preo-cupaciones medioambientales. Es una cuestión muy compleja, reconocen los especialistas y, podríamos añadir, difícil de explicar a los más jóvenes. No obstante, a partir del análisis de un álbum y de una novela corta, veremos que no es imposible, siendo de gran ayuda para lograrlo, la brevedad de estos dos géneros literarios.
Abstract: Excess in brief: overpopulation in children’s books and short stories. Since the 1970s, overpopulation has returned to the socio-political debate, linked to environ-mental concerns. It is a very complex issue, ac-cording to specialists and, we might add, diffi-cult to explain to young people. However, by analysing an album and a short story, we will see that it is not impossible, and the brevity of these two literary genres is a great help in achieving this.
