Abstract
Este artículo trata el origen de la comunidad mozárabe del reino de León, antiguos cristianos huidos de las tierras conquistadas por la invasión árabe y que pese a tener los mismos derechos que los habitantes del reino de León seguían denominándose a sí mismos como mozárabes.
Aim of this paper is to study the origin of the mozarab population in the Kingdom of León, they were Christians who left the lost territories conquered by the Muslims. Those Christians refugees enjoyed the same rights as the subjects of the Kingdom of León, but they called themselves mozarabs.
