Abstract
La novela, que hunde sus
raíces en la historia, bebe de cada uno
de los aspectos que conforman la
misma. Por este motivo, consideramos
que es necesario conocer los aspectos
léxicos y culturales del ámbito de la
esgrima dentro de una novela como El
maestro de esgrima, de Arturo Pérez
Reverte, puesto que nos revela el contexto
técnico en el que se fundamente
la obra del autor. De este modo, hemos
estudiado el ámbito de la esgrima
desde el punto de vista de una lengua
de especialidad, así como desde un
punto de vista cultural que enriquece
el conocimiento sobre dicha disciplina.
The novel has its roots in the drinking history of each of the aspects that make it. For this reason, we believe it is necessary to know the lexical and cultural aspects of the field of fencing in a novel like The Fencing Master by Arturo Perez Reverte, since it reveals the technical context in which the author's work is based. Thus, we have studied the field of fencing from the point of view of a specialized language, as well as from a cultural perspective that enriches the knowledge of the discipline.
