Abstract
El presente artículo trata de exponer la fundamental tesis de Ortega “Yo soy yo y mi circunstancia, y si no la salvo a ella no me salvo yo”, mostrando sus distintas modulaciones a lo largo de su obra y su muchas veces desconocida evolución. Gracias a este análisis se hará patente la riqueza de la potente propuesta metafísica orteguiana, al tiempo que se gana claridad sobre la evolución intelectual de una de las figuras filosóficas clave del siglo pasado.
This paper tries to expose Ortega´s key thesis “Yo soy yo y mi circunstancia, y si no la salvo a ella no me salvo yo”, showing its different modulations through his Works and its commonly ignored evolution. Thanks to this analysis it will be clear the richness of the orteguian metaphysic approach, while we also gain clarity about the intellectual evolution of one of the key philosophical figures of the last century.
