Abstract
A pesar de la ausencia de datos bibliográficos, una breve búsqueda de información sobre el terreno ha permitido documentar el funcionamiento, hasta mediados del siglo pasado, de al menos una treintena de norias de tiro en el entorno de la rambla del Cañar y Rincón de Tallante (Espacio Natural Protegido de La Muela-Cabo Tiñoso, Cartagena). El interés natural y cultural de la zona justifican la recuperación de alguna de ellas.
In spite of the absence of bibliography, a brief search of information on the fi eld has been able to document the functioning, till halfway through the last century, of at least a set of about thirty water wheels in the surroundings of the «rambla del Cañar» and «Rincón de Tallante» (Natural Protected Space of “La Muela-Cabo Tiñoso, Cartagena). The natural and cultural interest of the region justifi es the recovering of some of them.
