Abstract
Se analizaron el contenido y la composición del aceite esencial de Tagetesfilifolia (Compositae) de seis
poblaciones silvestres de Argentina. No se encontraron variaciones significativas en la composición cuantitativa
de los monoterpenos mayoritarios de las diferentes poblaciones. Los principales compuestos fueron anetol
(68, 1 % ) y estragol (29,5% ). El rendimiento de aceite esencial presentó variaciones en los distintos ambientes.
Essential oíl content and composition of Tagetes filifo/ia (Compositae) were analysed from six wild populations growing in Argentina. No significant variations were found in the quantitative composition of the majoritary monoterpenes of the different populations. Anetol (68,1 %) and estragol (29,5%) were the main components. The different habitats affected the total essential oil yield but no different in the terpenoid profiles were detected.
