dc.description.abstract	Resumen: Amin Maalouf nos invita a viajar a través de sus libros por territorios inmensos del Magreb al Máshreq, de Granada a Roma, hasta los confines de la antigua Persia, hacia Samarcanda o más lejos. Cuanto más penetramos en estos territorios de ensueño, mejor comprendemos la Historia con sus personajes exiliados, intentando definir su identidad. Los premios y reconocimientos que Maalouf acumula no impiden las polémicas surgidas a partir de su particular manera de definir la francofonía (2009), o por su último ensayo (El desajuste del mundo, 2010), o también por su definición de la identidad “entre dos países, dos o tres lenguas, varias tradi ciones culturales”. Proponemos una lectura de su obra con el fin de descubrir la profundidad y coherencia de su pensamiento.	es
dc.description.abstract	Abstract: Through his books, Amin Maalouf sends us on a long journey from the Maghreb to Mashriq, from Granada to Rome, and to the limits of ancient Persia and Samarcanda. The more we penetrate these dream lands, the better we understand history and all the people in exile attempting to define their identity. The awards and recognition that have been heaped on Maalouf are not exempt of controversy, raised by his highly individual way of defining francophonie (2009), his last essay (Le Dérègle ment du monde, 2010) and his definition of identity “between two countries, two or three languages, several cultural traditions”. Reading his work can lead to discovering the depth and coherence of his thought.	en_EN
