algunos de los móviles de esta omisión
This article aims to explore some of the reasons that justify the absence of Nestor Perlongher`s academic work into the annals of Latin American literary criticism. To do this, we will consider certain conditions of this discipline from the Fifties to the Eighties, decade in which Perlongher developed his work in a publishing circuit very distant from the mainstream literary criticism. Finally, the analysis of some features of his essays (place of enunc iation, relationship with the previous intellectual generation, affiliations with the Argentinean and Brazilian context, or the questioning of the national canon) will help us to determinate the causes of this omission.
