Abstract
Se presentan los primeros datos obtenidos en el estudio ficológico de cursos permanentes de agua continental de un conjunto de sierras que constituyen el Macizo Central Gallego de la provincia de Orense. Se ha realizado un catálogo florístico de las algas encontradas en 12 ríos y 2 fuentes. También se han tomado muestras del agua para la obtención de algunos parámetros físico químicos (pH, conductividad, temperatura y oxígeno disuelto). El catálogo florístico incluye 126 taxones, de los cuales 26 son Cyanophyta, 3 Rhodophyta, 32 Heterokontophyta (2 Chrysophyceae, 4 Xantophyceae, y 26 Bacillariophyceae), 3 Euglenophyta y 62 Chlorophyta. 28 especies constituyen nueva cita para la provincia de Orense y 20 para Galicia.
The first data obtained in the phycological study of permanent conti nental waters of the mountain system in the Macizo Central Gallego of Orense province are presented. This checklist contains the freshwater algae found in 12 rivers and 2 fountains. Also, samples of water are taken for obtaining physico-chemical analysis (pH, conductivity, temperature, and dissolved oxygen). This checklist contains 126 species,including 26 Cyanophyta, 3 Rhodophyta, 32 Heterokontophyta (2 Chrysophyceae, 4 Xantophyceae, and 26 Bacillariophyceae), 3 Euglenophyta and 62 Chlorophyta. 28 species are new records from Orense province and 20 from Galicia.
