dc.description.abstract	Las letras de los cantes mineros encierran un indudable valor documental, proporcionando no sólo valiosa información histórica y social del contexto en el que surgieron sino que son portadoras también del sentir y pensar de las gentes que las crearon. Su estudio constituye, por tanto, una fuente de referencia ineludible para las más diversas disciplinas. Su temática es variada y, aunque predominan aquellas centradas en la actividad de la mina o en las fatalidades que acechan al minero, concurren también otros tópicos. La ciudad de Cartagena, sus barrios y diputaciones, así como personajes y lugares emblemáticos ligados a ella, se nombran a menudo en las coplas del cante de las minas, constituyendo este tema el objetivo principal de nuestro trabajo.	es
dc.description.abstract	The lyrics of the songs of mine (“cantes de las minas”) contain an undoubted documentary value, providing not only valuable historical and social information about the context in which they emerged but also bearers of the feeling and thinking of the people who created them. Its study is, therefore, a source of reference inescapable for the most diverse disciplines. Their theme is varied and, although they predominate those centered in the activity of the mine or in the fatalities that lurk to the miners, concur also other topics. Cartagena city, its neighborhoods and councils, as well as characters and emblematic places linked to it, are often named in the lyrics, being this theme the main objective of our work.	es
