dc.description.abstractEn este artículo se revisan críticamente algunos aspectos metodológicos, conceptuales y filéticos de la evolución de cianobacterias, hongos, algas y plantas terrestres. Estos incluyen el registro fósil de DNA y otras moléculas, los retos de la cladística, las iniciativas sobre nuevos códigos filéticos, deficiencias en los modelos tradicionales de coadaptación, los equilibrios puntuados, el papel de las alteraciones heterocrónicas y heterotópicas, el neosaltacionismo, la importancia filogenético de la transferencia horizontal, el proyecto Tree of Life, la evidencia fósil de procariotas fotosintéticos y acritarcos, el origen y diversificación inicial de hongos, la endosimbiosis en algas eucarióticas, la terrestrialización y el origen de embriófitos, así como las radiaciones de pteridófitos, pteridospermas y espermatófitos actuales. Finalmente, se revisan las hipótesis más recientes sobre la evolución del síndrome angiospérmico desde la perspectiva del desarrollo embrionario.es
dc.description.abstractThis paper is a critical review of several methodological, conceptual and phylogenetic topics in the evolution of cyanobacteria, fungi, algae, and terrestrial plants. Those include the fossil record of DNA and other biomolecules, the challenges with cladistics and the new phyletic codes, the issues of conventional scenarios of coadaptation, punctuated equilibria, the role of heterochronic and heterotopic alterations, para saltation, horizontal gene transfer, the project Tree of Life, the fossil evidence of photosynthetic prokaryotes and acritarcs, the terrestriali zation and origin of embryophytes, and the radiation of pteridophytes, pteridosperms, and modern groups of seed plants. Finally, several recent hypotheses about the origin of the angiosperm syndrome are revised from an ontogenetic perspective.en
