Abstract
El guía de turismo desempeña un papel de gran importancia, por ser una de las primeras
personas con las que contacta el turista en el destino, atendiéndolo, informándolo y orientándolo
durante su estancia. La calidad de la prestación de sus servicios determina en muchos
casos la imagen y el grado de satisfacción que los visitantes se lleven del destino escogido,
ya que el guía es responsable de su asistencia, conducción e información. De ahí la necesidad
de contar con profesionales especializados, con una buena formación y amplios conocimientos,
precisos y actualizados.

The quality of the provision of services often determines the image and the degree of satisfaction of visitors with destiny, as the guide is responsible for attendance, conduct and information.
